SRK, HRK and SMK

SRK,HRK and SMK
My prediction for the week: we will have a lot of news featuring SRK, HRK and SMK.
My theory and consequent recommendation is based on the ancient law of physics concerning displacement.
But first things first: despite my strong Bollywood leanings, this does not have anything to do with the three Khans as a team. We normally think of Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman as the three Khan entities who make news all the time. Unfortunately, although Saif Ali Khan tried hard enough, he could not get to displace the established stalwarts. Neither could he be added as a fourth Khan, since everyone felt that while three was company, four would be a crowd.
Back to the real news makers of SRK, HRK and SMK. It is not difficult to identify SRK as the eternal charmer for millions of Bollywood fans and in that segment, a disproportionately large number of the fairer sex. SRK has always been in the news, either because of his movie running in the movie houses, or as is currently happening, trailers of his forthcoming releases (RAA ONE and DON 2) being splashed on the screens or his on stage performance at some award functions or because of his appearing along with his wife Gauri Khan in the ad film for his upholstery fabric company (touted as the third largest in the world). If none of this is happening, you can be certain that someone or the other is mimicking his performance in Karan Johar’s MY NAME IS KHAN. His success is more due to his portrayals of-screen as a true and loving family man. And because of this strong anti-stigma coating, he can do torrid love scenes with his co-stars and yet comes out blemishless and with his charming reputation intact.
But SRK’s position is under threat on account of the entry of Khar (not Khan!). I am talking about Hina Rabbani Khar, the 32 year old , new Foreign Minister of Pakistan who arrived in New Delhi earlier this week on her first official visit. Hina is charming, younger and has been an ace served by Pakistan to dramatically improve ties with India. Her visit has caused an instant impact in the media and the media has been speaking about her in eulogizing terms. Of course, her Roberto Cavalli sunglasses, over-sized Hermes bag and pearl jewellery and her dress sense and her youthfulness have partially aided in presenting a new face of Pakistan. To what extent she will succeed on the diplomatic front will be known only after some period of time, but our own Foreign Minister, S M Krishna (SMK) will have to be extremely agile on the diplomatic court. Despite his attempts to look and feel young by his frequent visits to health spas, his reading out speeches of some other country’s foreign minister is badly letting him down.
It is in this context that I would like to suggest to our Indian Government that they must field on the diplomatic court, someone who can match HRK’s charm and that SRK is one who can fit that slot ably. And for that to happen, SMK (no offence meant) needs to give way to SRK. And with HRK and SRK shouldering the serious responsibilities with a touch of VEER ZARA and DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAAYENGE, Indo-Pak relations could see a new high!

On HRK Mumbai Mirror quips “Pakistan sends another bomb to India” . Anyway when all other diplomacy had failed perhaps the Bombshell Diplomacy (no pun intended) may work!
